I did these sketches while my daughter, Patty, was recovering from Dengue Fever. Thank God she is alright now. Dengue Fever is very fatal if not remedied at once. One can get the Dengue virus via a mosquito bite. It is one health problem people in the tropical country, like the Philippines, is continuously facing. As of today, our Health Department estimated more than 10,000 cases in Metro Manila alone. We stayed in the hospital from August 17 to August 22.

Awesome sketches! Wishing your daughter a quick and full recovery!
Lovely sketches , drawn at a scary time. The one of your daughter is delightful. There is a lot of waiting time in hospitals and lots of detail to draw, if you can get your mind away from the reason why you are there. . I have just spent about 3 months in one and my sketchbooks kept me busy
So glad to hear of your daughter's recovery. Your sketches are wonderful and capture both your daughter and her IV - and the medical setting so well.
beautiful work, love all the details in the lines. I wish your daughter a speedy recovery.
These are great sketches. I'm glad to hear your daughter is better. That must have been very frightening. Sketching can be calming at times.
