Reposting My First 2 Blogs

I posted my first blog exactly 4 years and 1 month ago.  I've been blogging on and off since then.  There were times that I did only 1 or 2 posts for an entire year.  I'm hoping that I can regularly update this blogsite.  Here's my first two posts:

Did this sketch during a stormy afternoon in Divisoria. Divisoria is one the busiest market place in Manila where you can buy very cheap clothes, accessories, etc.

A pen and ink rendering of a street scene that I did while waiting for my parents at Starbucks in MegaMall. It took me approximately an hour to draw this. I was too engrossed in sketching that I did not notice that an hour passed by already.

Doodling with Sketchbook Pro in Ipad2

A quick sketch of my daughter, Belle, wearing her Japanese attire during her school's celebration of United Nation Week. I need to buy me a stylus pen for my IPad since it's quite awkward to draw with your fingers.

My Ipod and Vatican City

I sketched this one last June when I was in Rome.  I did the watercolor just this weekend.

Hospital Sketches

I did these sketches while my daughter, Patty, was recovering from Dengue Fever. Thank God she is alright now. Dengue Fever is very fatal if not remedied at once. One can get the Dengue virus via a mosquito bite. It is one health problem people in the tropical country, like the Philippines, is continuously facing. As of today, our Health Department estimated more than 10,000 cases in Metro Manila alone. We stayed in the hospital from August 17 to August 22.

My Path of Life in Cartoons

We had a day of silent retreat during the International Association of Lasalle Universities (IALU) 2011 Leadership Program. One of the prayer activity was The Path of Life, were you enter a labyrinth-like path and reflect what happened to your life.

Instead of writing my reflection about it, I decided to make a cartoon representation of my reflection. These two illustrations shows the main crossroads that I encountered during my 44 years of existence.
